About Course

Welcome to Financial Literacy Essentials

Money touches almost every decision we make, yet few people are ever taught how to manage it well. This course builds a clear, practical foundation in personal finance — from budgeting and saving to credit, investing concepts, and protecting your future — using plain language and real-world examples. It is designed for complete beginners and assumes no prior knowledge.

You will work through five modules. Each module contains a detailed reading lesson followed by a short knowledge-check quiz. When you finish all five, you sit a comprehensive final certification exam. Your progress and results are recorded automatically in your student dashboard. Please note that this course provides general financial education, not personalised financial advice; for decisions about your own money you should do your own research and, where appropriate, consult a qualified professional.

How this course works

  • Learn — read the lesson and study the examples and mini-calculations.
  • Check — take the short module quiz; retry as many times as you need.
  • Certify — pass the final exam (70% required) to complete the course.
