About Course

Welcome to Cybersecurity Essentials

Every day we bank, study, work, and socialise online — and every one of those activities depends on systems staying secure. This course takes you from zero to a confident understanding of how cyber-attacks work and how individuals and organisations defend against them, using the same concepts taught in recognised entry-level security programmes.

You will work through five modules. Each module contains a detailed reading lesson followed by a short knowledge-check quiz. When you finish all five, you sit a comprehensive final certification exam. Your progress and results are recorded automatically in your student dashboard.

How this course works

  • Learn — read the lesson and study the examples.
  • Check — take the short module quiz; retry as many times as you need.
  • Certify — pass the final exam (70% required) to complete the course.
